Service Description

Active law enforcement or Active Military Only HIGH RISK VEHICLE ENCOUNTERS This course is designed for teams or partners. Individual officers are still welcome to enroll. The objective this course is to increase the officer’s ability to engage a lethal threat from their vehicle without having to shoot through the windshield. Students will learn why this technique is the most effective way to guarantee hits. The officers will be given hands-on instruction that will accomplish the following: 1) Increase their awareness of the inconsistencies of shooting through a windshield 2) Understand responsibility’s when you are a driver or passenger when executing the technique 3) Identify the best placement of their vehicle to maximize lethal coverage and cover. 4) Students will learn in depth the considerations they need to have depending on the type of vehicle they are in. 5) Understand the proper mindset and posture level required to dominate a lethal encounter. 6) Demonstrate an above average ability to prepare for the moment and apply the concepts taught. *This course is specifically focused on being involved in hostile engagements* Officers will learn different techniques and considerations when conducting vehicle and open air-takedowns. Officers will coordinate follow on actions after a high-risk encounter which includes, taking suspects into custody, advancing towards downed suspects, and vehicle approaches. This is a Force on Target Class. Students should be prepared to be a role player and dress appropriately to receive simunitions. All simunition equipment will be provided. Gear List 1.
