HIGH RISK VEHICLE ENCOUNTERS

The objective of this course is to increase the officer's ability to engage a lethal threat from their vehicle without having to shoot through their windshield. If we can clear our muzzle, we can guarantee hits.

Officers will understand the inconsistencies with shooting through a windshield, how to prepare for a lethal confrontation, how to maximize survivability by utilizing their vehicle as cover, and how to prioritize lethal coverage. 

*This course is specifically focused on being involved in hostile engagements*

Officers will be exposed to vehicle and open air takedowns and learn the techniques required to address these different scenarios.

This is a Force on Target Class.

Students should be prepared to be a role player and dress appropriately to receive simunitions.

All simunition equipment will be provided.
